• Account details: name, phone number, email address, and company or technician profile information provided during onboarding.
• Technician profile: skills, experience level, service area, and working-hours preferences submitted when applying to join the technician network.
• Service data: machine details, issue descriptions, service tickets, job status, chat messages between factories and technicians, and job completion records.
• Payment information: transaction records for services booked through the platform. Payments are processed and held in escrow until a job is signed off; MachineryFix does not store full payment card or bank account numbers.
• Technical data: device/browser information, IP address, and usage analytics collected automatically to keep the platform secure and functioning.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Create and manage company and technician accounts
• Match factories with suitable technicians and process service requests
• Process and hold payments securely until job completion
• Communicate service updates via email, SMS, or WhatsApp
• Improve platform reliability, safety, and fraud prevention

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only: (a) between a factory and the technician assigned to their specific job, strictly to complete that job; (b) with service providers we rely on to operate the platform (authentication, database hosting, and payment processing); or (c) when required by law or a valid legal request from Indian authorities.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain account and service records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Data is stored with industry-standard encryption in transit and access controls restricting who can view sensitive account records.

6. Your Rights
